“Older properties have lots of charm, and some quirks, too. The charms of this place are many - location by the creek, huge deck with lots of seating, comfy beds, nice decor and full fridge and stove, to name a few. But the quirks are 21 stairs up to the second level (where we stayed), at times hearing people in the next room, a shower that wasn't always hot, and temperature control for the whole floor controlled by the host. We didn’t mind the quirks and enjoyed the charm immensely. We'd……

“I truly loved staying here and will stay here again. It was so clean, plenty of room, fully stocked kitchen and full size fridge. Roomy bathroom and plenty of room for at least 6 people to sleep. I was shocked at how quiet it was in the room bc we knew all the other rooms were reserved, but we didn’t hear one noise from other people that were staying there. Loved the chairs by the firepit and creek. Excellent location and very friendly owner. I give them an A+ on every aspect. Keep in mind……

“The property was nice. Clean, comfortable. Even the sofa bed, which I normally hate, was fine.Don't slow down before you reach the top of Circle Rd. (private road). Especially if pulling a trailer and do not have 4WD. We made it up fine even when wet. But the first time, pulling a trailer, we slowed up just before reaching the top. And we got stuck. Had to unload the trailer. (Motorcycles).Speaking of which, I saw somewhere motorcycles may not be suitable. Our street bikes made it up just fine.”

“Our stay was great! I gave 4 stars for the condition because the toilet in the master bedroom was out of order. It was just a little inconvenient to go another bathroom during the night.”

“Nice location, cute & cozy cabin on the river. A few touches of Xmas decor. Heating is one temp for the entire cabin. It was 68 when we arrived and ended up as hot as hades the rest of the stay. Beds are very firm. No TV. Wendy was nice. ”
