“Overall it was a nice trip and a decent place to stay. Keeping me from rating it excellent: no TV, owner control of heat/AC, thin walls/ceiling and offsite laundry. Otherwise a great location … 10-60-minute drive to explore the areas we were wanting to- Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg & Knoxville. If I had realized no TV in the rental, we could have brought a tablet so we could watch a movie together after hiking and adventuring all day as we did have……

“Loved the location and historical feel of the property. We liked the fact we were able to walk to the Little River Pub and Deli where the food was really good. Highly recommend the Bryson Sandwich. We enjoyed shopping at the Apple Valley Store and the Cades Cove Winery. Pigeon Forge was only a 30 minute drive, but we preferred the more peaceful and less hectic location in Townsend. I was originally concerned about the number of stairs, but once we were settled in loved the apartment and……

“Nice location. Loved the river. The stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit much for 2 older people 60 ish. Flimsy mattress in our opinion on the queen sized bed.3 nights and our backs were broke. Check in was nice and check out easy all over the phone.Shared space with several other quest including our deck. They were out most of the time which left us in as it was a small soace. Need new outdoor furniture we did not even sit down looked dirty.Overall ok. Good for the price. Just nothing to write……
