“We had a wonderful time staying at Druids Knowe. The cottage has been finished to such a high standard, it is by far the best we have ever stayed in. We were very impressed with all the lovely extra details, the beautiful pictures, vases and bowls, the welcome pack was very generous and much appreciated, we really felt at home. The walks were fantastic and the wildlife visiting the cottage was amazing. We are already looking forward to returning next year.”

“A very comfortable stay in a Shepherds Hut which i could live in ☺️ nice wee kitchenette with shower room and toilet and a very comfortable bed. Emma was very welcoming and showed me took accommodation and told me things i needed ro know. Restaurant on site was very good too! 😃”

“We stayed here for 5 nights and were greeted by a lovely card with details of local events. Communication was excellent and the hosts were lovely local people, we had easy access if we required any assistance. Access to the property was simple as was parking. This gorgeous little two bedroom apartment had everything we needed for our stay, it felt like home rather than a hotel. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, I just absolutely loved it and was genuinely sad to leave. We had such a lovely……

“Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“On a spacious site by a river, we were welcomed to this superb accommodation by casual and friendly hosts and enjoyed the sporting facilities like golf, tennis, snooker walks and cycling and as well as the castles, restaurants and other amenities in this lovely area. We had only one infant but he too was well catered for.”

“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

“Property was as described, spacious and perfect for the nine of us that stayed there. October so unfortunately didn’t have the opportunity to use the garden but the hot tub was ready for us on arrival and there were games and books to use as well. “This simple, cosy cabin was great for a family holiday with 4 generations. The ramp, grab rails in the bathroom and one level living helped the elderly and the cot, high chair and laundry room worked for the baby. The cabin was clean, warm, welcoming and functional. “Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

“Great location just South of Ballater on Glenmuick estate. Enjoyed being wakened by the wildlife rather than planes. Not sure if the cottage is haunted but was wakened at 3am on the first night by creaking stairs. Anyway didn’t detract from our stay. Cottage is in need of upgrading e.g. ancient shower and paintwork in need of attention. That may concern some people but did not detract at all from our stay. Overall would recommend a stay here for a few nights if you like activities in spectacular……
