🏰 Welcome to “The Castle” — Your Rustic Getaway Near Patoka Lake!
Tucked away on 86 acres of beautiful Indiana woodland, this one-of-a-kind Castle Cabin is just 12 minutes from Patoka Lake and the Little Patoka Boat Ramp. A guest favorite for years, it combines rustic charm with fun, family-friendly features — including a private hot tub on the back deck, a lookout tower with sweeping views, and a screened-in front porch perfect for sipping coffee in the rocking chairs.
Inside the Castle:
Upstairs: Master bedroom with queen bed, guest bedroom with two twin beds.
Downstairs: Fully equipped kitchen (basic cookware provided), cozy living room with DirecTV, and a bathroom with stand-up shower (no tub).
Coffee lovers rejoice — you’ll find both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker.
Outside the Castle:
Private fire pit for late-night marshmallow roasting (plus a larger shared fire pit at the Barn).
Charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal & foil).
Game Barn, small ponds, and wooded trails to explore.
What to Expect:
This is a true rustic cabin — way out in the woods, deep in the country, with a long, private drive. It’s not a Hyatt hotel, and that’s exactly the charm! You’ll be surrounded by nature, dark night skies for stargazing, and the quiet of the forest. While there are 9 other cabins on the property, each is spaced apart for plenty of privacy.
We have DirecTV and very limited WiFi — making this the perfect place to unplug and recharge while enjoying the Patoka Lake / French Lick area.
Book your escape to The Castle Cabin today and experience why guests return year after year!
