Great location and staff very efficient , friendly and helpful . We enjoyed chatting with all of them . However the property was average at best . Bed was hard and pillows terrible . Had to go purchase my own pillow . Our air conditioning unit sprung a lake and flooded room floor . The location on the channel was nice . This property has yet to reach its full potential. Restaurants near were great . Pros and cons you see . Would I go back ?? Likely not .

What a beautiful stay with all the staff and guests of Creekside Inn (including resident mantees)! Visited with my mom for her bday trip to Florida. Staying at this quaint lil canal based inn truly made our trip memorable! Will visit again! Thanks again to the amazing handyman for retrieving my ring that fell down the drain! Thank you so much!!! This stay was absolutely atrocious and I do not believe these other reviews are staged!!! There was only one friendly staff person and we only saw her 1 day, and the rest of the staff was ridiculously rude and just plain nasty!!! All of their information is incorrect and they are proof that you can take good pictures. They advertise breakfast, and they don’t have a restaurant!! They advertise shops onsite. WHERE?!?! They are a rag tag location and now we know why they draw you in with fake information and low prices. I hope you take this as a true warning NOT TO STAY HERE!!!! Room service was non-existent and the rooms were gross. We had to BEG for clean towels, and that was if you could find anyone to help!! HORRIBLE!!!!!

The room was dirty when we arrived. Since we did a late check in we had to sleep with the room like that, there was hair in the shower, on the sheets, the room smelled super humid and there was sand in the chair. We called the next day and they cleaned everything. It was better and felt better afterwards.

The Creekside is gorgeous but the rooms itself are disappointing to say the least. It’s for sure motel style which would be fine if the inside of the door frame wasn’t rubbed out as if someone tried to force entry. The room smelt so badly of mold and bleach cleaner it was hard to stay in there. Rust stains dripping in shower, dirty sticky floor

The room was reasonably clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the desk attendant was surly and did not replace burned out lightbulbs in our room. The description of the property was misleading in that it said the room was “creekside“ when in fact, the entryway and large window was originally intended to face the highway.

The property is aged, but the room was super clean, comfy except the pillows were cement! Unfortunately there was a lot of construction making access to hotel and restaurants congested.

Clean simple place to stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Two pools open. Close to kayak rental. Close to a small bar and restaurant. The only thing we really didn’t like was that the curtains were not blackout curtains so the street lights were shining in our faces all night.
