One employee was running entire hotel - concierge, cleaning duty, food preparation, etc. Room was not ready upon arrival. I was told room hasn't been cleaned and this was AFTER arriving two hours later than check in time. This was on top of standing in lobby and ringing service bell for 25 minutes before even being greeted. Once finally checked in, room was unsafe and filthy. Splattered food on the walls, crumbs on the floor, dirty sheets, dirty bathtub/shower and the room has a horrid smell. It was as if somebody had been living there and was forced out to vacate room for my family's reservation. Also, windows had no screens in them. Ended up cancelling reservation to stay elsewhere in the area.

They over booked, so when I checked in - my one room double bed was now a one bed king size - with jacuzzi. My son was my companion. Moms don’t sleep with their sons! No call to let me know. When I said this is my son/ they said it’s a big bed. No discount , nothing.

I was disappointed that the tv did work and they brought another on, was told there was streaming but all we got was live tv. There was no phone and no clock radio, so if I would not have had a cell phone we would have no way of getting up. The curtains did not fit the window so they wouldn't close, letting the sun come in the window early am. Staff was very nice.

This is a tough one because if you are looking for an upscale hotel, this is not it. You do get what you pay for and for 99$ a night, it was what I expected. We came for the beach and it was amazing. Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The hotel is a little run down and dated, but it seems like they are working on improving it. My kids loved the beach, pool and hot tub. The room smelled pretty musty and I noticed mildew but the beds were clean, and we only really used the room to sleep and shower. The cleaning staff was very friendly. Lots of people were outside partying on the weekend at the picnics tables but they didn't bother us and it was very quiet during the week. If you are looking for a cheap place to crash after the beach, this is a great option. I wasn’t sure at first but after 3 days, decided I would stay here again potentially in the future.

Took 4 tries to the front counter to get cards to open door. Urine on toliet seat(lots), food crumbs in the bed; had to ask for clean sheets; which my wife changed; no help offered. Lamp not plugged in; had to search for outlet behind bed. Room was obviously not properly cleaned. We wanted to leave immediately but were refused a refund. Don't waste your money on this place.

This property has several pictures on the listing that were deceiving. Most of the hotels in this area are extremely dated/run down. You are paying for the beautiful beach and lake. Our room 106 had 2 lights that we could never get to go on, a panel on the wall that was falling down, and a mini fridge that only worked part of the time. The staff was friendly. Easy access to canoe rentals.

What I did not like is one not having a phone in my room to call front desk if I had to two lack of maintenance to the room there is dust bunnies and dirt and dirty stuff underneath the bed my door coming into my room rubs on the door frame so bad it's hard to open and close and there's cigarette butts all over in the parking lot and sidewalk nobody told us the Wi-Fi password beds very uncomfortable our rooms smell like a wet dog had laid in the beds not happy at all either is my wife I would not go back there ever again not for the kind of money I paid for it.

I didn't like the unsecured entry. Also the weekly rate is $349 and charged for 2 nights $393 doesn't seem right. Hotel needs to be updated. Hot tub was hot but jets were not working. Carpet throughout the facility needs to be clean.

You can go to relax, but not to party. It's a very quiet place. Everything closes at 10 p.m. After that, there's nothing to eat.

The location is great! The Paul was nice. The hot tub was broken. We were supposed to have a room for five, but it only was for 4 at most. Sleeping space was tight. It was still a good time.

There was a mix up in our reservation, we thought the hotel staff had fixed our two night stay. When we came back the next afternoon we were locked out of our room. We had to call the police to get our belongings. Hotel staff lied about correcting our reservation.

Breakfast was empty. Pancake machine was not working. 2 coffee carafes were empty. No hard boiled eggs. 1 piece of bread. Contacted front desk, she was too busy to attend. Obviously, there was not a dedicated breakfast staff to attend to the continental breakfast area.

Being able to walk out to the beach whenever we wanted was so convenient and the views are amazing. The staff is incredibly professional, welcoming and hospitable. Great place for kids. Breakfast was easy with grab and go options or pancakes if you wanted to sit.
