“Comfortable home not far from Main Street. This lovely house has been restored with historic charm plus modern conveniences. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we would have liked to stay a little longer. Owners are extremely attentive to their renters and assist when needed. We enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood with so many stately old homes. Thank you for being pet friendly.”

“Very nice place to stay. The vicinity next to the busy road, while a little unsettling at first, was NO problem at all. Convenient to museums and restaurants with easy walks. Something I comment with 90% of vacation rentals…..Kleenex??!! Why can’t a box of tissue be thought of by property managers? Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Widow Douglas’ .”

“We had a hiccup the original house we had returned was damaged but we were put into a different house and was accompanied for the change. The only thing was some of the locals were less than desirable. Otherwise was all great!!”

“This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lauren' simple and elegant Christmas touches made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed. We come several times a year to Quincy and usually stay with my inlaws, but they are getting older and it's getting hard for them to accommodate our family of 4. This apt was close to their home and fun for my teen kids. We will book again! ”
