“My husband and I moved to Wilmington, NC in June, 2024 from Bucks County, PA...a suburb of Philadelphia.We have traveled back to Philly 4 times for a family death and special occasions. However, we have not explored further than an hour or so from Wilmington since moving here.This trip to Lenoir, Blowing Rock and Boone was our first adventure exploring North Carolina. “My family enjoyed this property immensely. A secluded cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home made everyone happy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the river while the kid explored the shoreline and rock hunted. We made outdoor campfires and s’mores, and snuggled up by the indoor fireplace with books. Be aware it is a long driveway, so any plans out and about take a bit longer. The Food Lion in Millers Creek is about a 20 minute drive. ”

“This property is amazing! Gorgeous view with an amazing porch to enjoy it on. Plenty of room inside as well. Well worth the money and we wanted for nothing. Questions were responded to in a timely manner. Our only complaint would be that when we arrived I think we must have been the first renters of the season because the porches were a mess along with the furniture we had to sweep the porch and deep clean all the furniture as it was covered in dust and pollen. The porch itself needs a pressure……

“We love this place. This was our second visit. It is quiet, secluded, and you have a rushing stream right next to the backyard to enjoy. Plus a fire pit with outdoor overhead lighting. Absolutely magical at dusk. The property is well kept, clean, and cozy. The owners are very kind and friendly, and we always have good communication. It’s about 35 minutes from West Jefferson. In our opinion, the best way to get to West Jefferson from the cabin is to turn right at the metal bridge on Walsh road,……

“Cannot tell you what a beautiful piece of property. This is the location the neighborhood the house was fully furnished stopped really well. The outdoor sitting areas were amazing. The dock the views the neighbors were amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better stay if I could give it more than a perfect score I would I’ve already scheduled two more visits back this year and working on a third one. I definitely will return again.
