“ What a lovely cottage! Having the en suite instead of a main floor bathroom was a blessing.We didn’t get to meet Carmel, but Joe was lovely. He likes a bit of craic & had some lovely suggestions for our stay. The internet connections a bit spotty, but it sounds as though it’s being worked on.”

“Our family of 8 (4 couples) really enjoyed our stay in Doolin. The Cottage is in a great location and the property manager did communicate with us when we had a problem with cold showers (we didn't know what time that the water heater would be on). Doolin is very walkable and the cottage had a great game selection for our family. No real grocery store in town so pick up groceries before you arrive. We did miss an actual coffee maker, but the French press worked for a few cups. ”

“Not only in a lovely location with great hosts who made us welcome but also the enchantment of a local pub with true gaelic music.The walk along the beach ( about 600 metres away) is an absolute must .”

“Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites.”

“We stayed a week in this beautiful place. The house is well equipped, no need to bring anything. Eileen has maps and guidebooks ready as well as her own knowledge of the area to share . The views from the many windows were wonderful.”

“Beautiful property. There is a small grocery store and pub just a short walk away. The showers were particularly nice - hot and great water pressure - and you appreciate this all the more if you’ve spent the day out in the wind and rain. A short drive to Doolin and the Cliffs. Would definitely recommend this property. ”
