“Everything good with this accomodation close to the airport”

“The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“Very good hotel. Having kitchen with a fridge is a great advantage if you stay for more than three nights. It’s a bit far from touristic places which is not necessarily good or bad but great thing is that there’s a bus stop nearby with a free rode to the city center. The beach is 10-15 minutes to walk. Administrators are the nicest people who were there to navigate us in our first days on Crete.”

“Absolutely fantastic apartment's, spotlessly clean & well equipped and high specification. Very comfortable beds, great shower. Pool area is lovely with very comfortable sun loungers and there is a well equiped gym too. The location is great, its really quiet but its only a few minutes walk down the road to the beach and numerous fantastic tavernas, or a few minutes in the opposite direction to filoxenia taverna (our favourite), supermarkets, main strip or bus stop. The staff are really friendly……

“We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. ”

“We had a late arrival flight in Heraklion, and needed to rest before driving to Chania. We stayed here one night, and were very impressed by the studio, it was functional, beautiful and in rather pristine condition for a rental studio. We were more exhausted than we anticipated, and the hostess noticed and offered us without us asking to get some extra sleep until she had cleaned the other studios. We were pleasantly surprised with multiple factors and would without a doubt return & recommend……

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Pepy (owner) is lovely and very helpful. The accommodation was great, and the private pool and patio was excellent. Having the ability walk out at any time and enjoy the sun without having to think about if you'll get space / how busy it will be etc was fantastic. Kitchenette was small but did the job for me - lots of crockery and glasses so not having to wash up constantly . The grounds were lovelt and well kept - flowers and herbs everywhere. “Very responsive host and the remarkably clean and organized hotel room with secured/easy access was conveniently located in the city center near the Herakleion port. Restaurants and shopping district within walking distance. The host guided me through greatly with finding a parking spot which I appreciate very much. Coffee, tea, a small bottle of ouzo & other assortments were kindly accommodated, such sensible gestures added a wonderful memory to my experience in the famous greek hospitality.……

“Check in was easy, the apartment was a great space for our family for a short stopover. There weren’t very many amenities in the apartment aside from dishwashing supplies, so it is sparse in that sense. The location has was okay and parking and driving in Heraklion Centre was difficult to find and squeeze through narrow streets. There is no dedicated parking area for this property, so do some research in advance if you can.”

"We had a great stay at Creta Maris Resort. The all inclusive setup makes it super relaxing – you don’t have to think about anything and can fully unwind. Most staff were friendly and helpful, except for one or two at Enomy Restaurant whose English made communication tricky, and the luggage staff who seemed a bit indifferent. Food-wise, I recommend booking the à la carte restaurants. Buffets offer variety but are average in quality. Enomy has more choices than Estia. We tried Alatsi – excellent service, amazing sea view, food slightly salty, but the crème brûlée was a highlight. Desserts overall are large and satisfying. Pool bar snacks weren’t great, but drinks and cocktails were excellent – perfect for sunny poolside moments. Our room had a partial sea view and the resort is beautiful, with lots of photo spots. There’s a private beach, plenty of pools, and activities you can book easily through their app. I suggest staying at least 3 days. With 4 or 5 nights, you can also explore the town. Overall, it’s not super luxury, but it’s a great fit for families and covers a wide range of needs. Recommended."
