“We had a 16-month-old and his 73-year-old grandfather and everyone in between, and they all love this wonderful property. It’s as beautiful as the listing describes and it’s so well equipped and comfortable, it’s the perfect home base for exploring Maine. We love the chef’s kitchen. The principal suite has windows all around to frame the magnificent views of the water. Each bedroom has closet and dresser space, and its own bathroom. I could go on, but suffice it to say it was at least our fourth……

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the views, kayaking on the lake, seeing the stars, and listening to the loons. The location is perfect...close to the town, beaches, and trails, but also quietly secluded for that perfect peaceful getaway. The house was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. Wendy was a very generous and gracious host and made sure our stay was special. We can't wait to visit again”

“As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. ”

“My wife & I have known Alex & Siobhan for at least 15 years--we stayed in rooms at their former Claddagh Motel as well as suites, but we've stayed mostly at the Primrose B with our two kids & now twice at the Loft (just my wife & me). These innkeepers are the friendliest you'll ever encounter. The Loft has been available only a handful of years--but it's been immaculately appointed, including an incredibly comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, & a private deck with excellent grill & the same……

Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal!
