Really great place with wonderful hosts. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. They had stuff available in case you forgot something, like your toothbrush etc. Plenty of snacks and fresh fruit also provided. This placed raised the bar on the saying "home away from home"

Coastal Retreat

The overall experience was very good. We were close to shopping and I believe 20 minutes from Galveston’s pleasure pier. We only had a few minor issues that I myself missed when booking. I didn’t realize there was no laundry available, which the host let us know there was a laundry mat just a few minutes away. Also, the extractor over the gas stove and the ice machine of the fridge did not work. These last two things were not to significant since we only cooked a few dishes and had purchased ice. We did not inform the host because it was not to much inconvenience. The host provided amazing snacks and items to use for ourselves and our dogs! Would definitely recommend this location for short trips and will be booking again!
