This was perfect for a 2 day get away and I could have stayed longer, but was expected in the Annapolis Valley. “Rustic but well appointed old farmhouse on a beautiful property, large enough to explore and even hike to the basin. Everything that you need is provided - literally. The host has all information needed to tour the area at your fingertips, comfortable rooms - with the picture window overlooking the river a favourite. Hard to pry away from that view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out.
