“We had a wonderful weekend at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The location is ideal—quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to everything Stamford has to offer. The house itself was spotless and very well appointed, with all the amenities we could have asked for. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, it’s clear the owners put thought into making sure guests feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent……

“Location good as we came to go to a family party in Castor. Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase……

“We stayed at the Cottage- a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. Lyn was an amazing host- even left us a bottle of wine and cake as a welcome gift. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. Bed and linens were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Our favorite part about this place was the private garden. We would love to stay here again!”
