“I have stayed at many VBRO sites and this one was the one I never wanted to leave. Beautifully situated on Lake Lay, the home was inviting and warm, but not pretentious - it felt like HOME. The owners were easy to communicate with, answered all questions in a timely manner and super helpful. The location is perfect - just far away enough to feel like a retreat, but close enough to great food and other fun. Oak Mnt State Park not too far, and highly recommend a trip to that. “The Barn was exactly as advertised. Very quaint & cozy in a beautiful city of Montevallo, Alabama. It came equipped with all the essentials you need while traveling. Lots of games provided at the Barn. We loved the large chalk board in the kitchen to write notes during our stay. We definitely return again. ”
