Fantastc restaurants, coffee, bakery, and indoor marketplace all within a couple blocks. We took the free shuttle to the Scotties tournament. It was perfect! Only downside is that this historic hotel built by Canadian Pacific railway, (once hosted Queen Elizabeth we were told) is in the process of being renovated. Even though we were aware of this ahead of time , the hotel's condition was much worse than we could imagine. The bed and bathroom was clean. But we had to take a bedsheet off and cover the couch before we could sit on it. Staff offered us a different room, but the couch upholstery was extremly worn, the cushion filthy on the arm chair in the offered room. We have never ever stayed somewhere so depressing. Once the rooms are redone, I would maybe give it another chance...
