“Was an incredible stay, the views fromThe shepherds hut was remarkable and the hut was lovely and spacious. Super clean and such an amazing weekend stay ! The sunset view from the hut was beautiful. Super quick drive into Keswick town as well! Spent a lot of time so long in the views whilst watching the baby lambs run and jump in the field.”

“We booked as we thought it was a weekend break with a hot tub. It has hot tubs on site but we did not have one as we had planned and was really disappointing. I called Sean the manager and did not feel heard or supported and he was not able to aid me in who to complain to as it could be Jose’s sons or berbo but he could not help so we had no options to discuss with anyone else. “I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket.
The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up.”

“Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. “Large, clean and very well equipped property in a quiet rural area. Plenty of walks on the doorstep to suit all abilities. Lots of wildlife including nesting and roosting birds next to property.Plenty of pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance, also a Fish & Chip van which visits the village on a Friday evening (need to pre order and book collection time).Owners met us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely.”

“We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. ”

“Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days”
