“This property was perfect for my large group to stay for the weekend! The only category that wasn’t 5 stars was cleanliness but the house was perfect! The 4 star rating was because the Trash Bin outside was already full when we got there. This made clean up a little tricky and honestly I felt bad with the amount of trash that was collected there.”

“Queen beds and twin beds were lumpy, cheap mattresses. Only one bed side table in bedroom with no lamp, had to move a no switch half broke lamp with no way to turn off except unscrewing the bulb to the bedroom. There was another no switch non working lamp occupying space in the living area too. The toilet flange sat up above the flooring, so had to put a piece of cardboard under front lip to keep it from rocking. 2 of the three smoke detectors were awol. Overall I’d say the owner is satisfied……

“Above average lodging in Tickfaw.The good:1. Close to Hammond, where our event was located. Great location, secluded from the rest of the area.2. Everything was clean, beds were neat and towels were ready. Furniture was nice and in great condition.3. Wifi was fast and easy to setup. For a business trip this was a great "home base" for the night. Roku TVs in each room was nice as well.Not great:1. Property could use some TLC. An exterior shutter was blown off and in the yard. There was some water……

“My grandfather unexpectedly passed so we headed to Louisiana. The hotels in Hammond from my experience, the ones that accept dogs that is, aren’t nice at all. So I found myself looking for a VRBO rental. I found this one and boy am I glad I did. The host was great with communication, texts and messages via VRBO were responded to immediately. The place was well kept and clean. The air conditioner worked great and the water got good and hot for showering. It’s also in a quiet area right outside of……
