Within an hour of arriving here, we started to compare the feeling of this place to a special and beloved location that we frequent in Maine. Remote, but not too far from civilization. Rustic, but comfortable and well equipped. It's a jaw-dropping setting surrounded by sturdy live oaks that frame every view, beautiful water and marshes that are full of life (great fishing), star-filled night skies, and hear your heart beat……

“This is a halfway point between my daughter in Raleigh and us in central Florida. The house was spacious, the kitchen was huge and well equipped, and the neighborhood was very peaceful. It was a short drive to restaurants and groceries. There is a dock on the river for fishing. Its everything that you need in one spot!”
