“This is our 2nd year staying at the maverick apartment in Wolfeboro. If you can’t have a beach house on the lake, this is a great location for enjoying downtown Wolfeboro. You can walk to everything and the apartment is clean and pretty well stocked. While the apartment is on one level, there are 10 steps up to the entrance. We usually found parking but it can be a challenge. We bring a couple of extra frying pans—and only one closet has a rod. But the kitchen is efficient with new appliances.……

“We had a wonderful stay at Varney Hill Farm. The Loft apartment had everything we needed for our long-weekend stay visiting the Lakes Region. The apartment was clean and well kept. It was a nice balance of rustic, cozy charm for an 1800s farmhouse with the right touch of modern amenities. We got to explore the property a little bit, getting to see the horses, cows, and pigs. Even explored some of the trails, which the farm is adjacent to town and state conservation land. Hosts Patti and……

“Stayed a couple of nights in order to enjoy the Wolfeboro Christmas parade and tree lighting as well as the Nutcracker at Kingswood Performing Arts Center. Apartment is cozy and within walking distance of downtown area for entertainment, shopping and restaurants. ”

“We were in town for our daughter's wedding. The space was perfect for us to get ready and the picturesque landscape was amazing for pictures. The unit was well stocked with towels, toiletries, kitchen equipment etc. I would highly recommend this space and if ever in the area again I would absolutely rent this unit. So much better than a hotel!”
