“We loved our stay here on Lewis. The house had everything you could need, the coziest kitchen, books and toys for the kids, beach towels, beach things, and the best part, the owners are so lovely and provided so much info on the area and their family history which made it really special. The house is in a beautiful spot and near to a very well stocked community supermarket. ”

“We didn’t know what to expect. It was quite remote but the scenery was amazing! Nestled in Uig bay , with a community shop and cafe only minutes away in the car. It took a while getting used to no internet but we could contact with family using the community cafe WiFi! “The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. ”
