“Excellent hotel in a fantastic position with good simple facilities which are very well kept. Pool is small but the sandy beach is just 150 metres away. You need a car. The main town is 15 minutes on good roads and the island is well worth exploring. Numerous good, very good or excellent restaurants around the island. “Porto Vlastos provided a delightful stay for me to enjoy in Tinos. The proximity to the ocean/beach is the best part of it. The host, Katerina, was very friendly and helpful; she always responded to my questions promptly and provided helpful answers. “The room smelled of septic system and staff was not responsive to this once they were told and the leaky toilet was simply mopped up and not taken care of. They simply said this region was associated with this ‘ biological odor’the staff did not notify us of all the perks. They could have offered a discount because we had room that smelled but they were not inclined when asked. In addition the staff member we spoke to about the smelly room kept conveniently forgetting about the issue and telling……
