“This was a really cute and fun property, but there were a few small things lacking. There were no baking pans, only one wash cloth, no hand soap, and the coffee filters were too shallow (and therefore, let coffee grounds into the pot)—all very small things that weren’t worth getting the manager to fix for a 2 night stay, but all a bit annoying. I didn’t realize that the living room/bedroom were the same room, which may have been my oversight. It meant that we had to put the baby’s pack and play……

“House location is amazing! Perfect view overlooking the water. House is located in a big creek off the main lake which makes it protected from most of the wind. Made our winter stay much more comfortable to be outside. Cant wait to bring the kids in summer, Host offers several water toys, kayaks, paddle boards. I brought the boat this trip, private boat ramp access right next to the property! Covered dock has power for charging boat batteries. Great place, we loved it!”

“Would have loved to be right on the water. Was led to believe you were close. It was not a far walk but for a handicapped person, it was a trek. Also, this cabin when they say there is an office upstairs, they did not say there was an open window only closed by a barn door style closure. We could hear the phone conversation of the manager in the office. Although only a short time that we were there while office was open, we may have requested another cabin if we had known.”

“If anybody can suggest a better cottage for the money with spectacular views and an absolutely stellar host, I would love to hear about it!!!!”

“Our stay was great! I was on a trip with friends and there was 3 adequate rooms for all of us. The weather when we arrived was a bad winter storm coming and was going to be really cold. Thankfully the heat in the house worked great and we never knew the difference. To save some money on our trip we cooked meals at the house instead of eating out and found there to be all the appropriate items to do so. All in all we higher recommend staying!”
