The room was fine - clean, comfortable to work from. Not particularly well maintained - there appeared to be toothpaste or shaving foam splashes up the wall by the sink, along with lots of usage marks.
My room was to the side - on the first night, there was really loud music from the bar next door. Not the hotel's fault, but I was finding it hard to get to sleep. I called reception and asked about changing rooms, but it wasn't an option.
Breakfast was really unpleasant - I tried on day 1, and gave up. Didn't try again. Fried eggs were dried out and lukewarm, had clearly been sat waiting for a while. No bacon, and the sausages were mini hotdogs. The bread was stale - and even after 2 rounds through the toaster, it didn't toast. The tea wasn't great, and the cappuccino was actually revolting - I've rarely had anything that bad.
Location is good for the room rate - there's a small beach immediately opposite, and you are on the promenade that goes to the marina/restaurants, which is where I wanted to be.
