“We came to visit Brown University, and this place was absolutely perfect in terms of location. The room was spacious and spotless, with everything we needed in both the kitchen and bedroom. “Such a sweet suite where attention has been given to every detail… From the cozy coastal decor, comfy bed, great books on the history of the area and binder of places to go and things to do to the kitchen area stocked with utensils, paper goods, coffee pods and teabags. “This house is in a perfect location to walk to everything you want to enjoy in Newport. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it again the whole stay. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need to relax and they even serve homemade baked goods for breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed at Admiral Syms house and will definitely be back.”

“Stay away! Our experience was awful and led to our immediate departure from the property. We checked in and found the assigned condo to be in an unacceptable, uninhabitable condition. The unit was run down, and we discovered significant cleanliness issues including pubic hair on the toilet and in the shower, mold around the shower tub drain and behind a toilet, unclean sinks, and badly stained kitchen chairs. The entire unit had a pervasive, awful damp and musty smell, and the furniture was old……

“Loved this property! Clean, incredibly spacious, great location. Communication with Robin was fantastic, she went above and beyond during our stay. House is very well stocked. Plenty of bath and beach towels, chairs, umbrellas. Our group agreed the house felt much bigger than it did in photos. The addition over the garage is perfect for some added privacy while not being inaccessible from the rest of the group. Would recommend this place! ”

“Came to attend and celebrate our daughter’s graduation from URI. Great location, the two level house was the perfect set up. The yard was ideal for our graduation party. Every other night we gathered around the fire pit. A truly memorable week with family. Tyler was so easy to work with and responded to all of our questions right away in she planning process. “Great location and wonderful stay! Close to everything, including the free #67 bus (in between 2 of the stops), 15-minute walk to 2 grocery stores, darling restaurants and pubs are a block away. Quiet location and spacious for a family of 4. The only small issue was the laundry; it is onsite but not in the unit, you will need to bring quarters and detergent. Newport was one stop on our trip and doing laundry was a key reason for choosing the unit. Other than that, I would not hesitate to book……

“Can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was absolutely perfect - close to town, shops, the beach, and great restaurants but also in a quiet neighborhood. The place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and with great amenities - the beds were so comfy! Paige was a great host and proactive on communications. "The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. So we can not see the water view from our bed, also because it is too broken, it can not really block the light either! We pay more for a water view room, but end up had no view and no good sleep! Pleople who works in the bar restaurant are really friendly, but the environment is filthy! A lot feathers came out of decoration pillows! Not very comfortable visually! "
