“It was quiet and secluded. The gardens were amazing. Our accommodations were perfect for us. We did see some birds including a peacock and a toucan but were probably more interested in the plants than the birds. The pool was great. There are a great selection of restaurants and a well stocked grocery store in El Valle as well as lots of things to do even in rainy weather.”

“The view is priceless! The place while not huge, fit our family of 5. The pool is really special, especially on hot days. This very unique place includes stars you'd never see in a city, access to near-private waterfalls, and beautiful nature paths. However, we made the mistake of not renting (you have to have a private car to enter the gated community) a 4-wheel drive vehicle. This place NEEDS one even to just get up the driveway. Getting around the area is also hard without an SUV. You are not……

The owner was great at sending detailed videos of exactly how to get to the property and walking trails near by. He was also Great at responding to any questions we had within minutes. The property and the area felt very safe as well. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return.”

“I stayed for 2 nights with my mother at Dennis's wonderful Cabanas. It is a lovely property and has a wonderful vintage 50's era style and charm to the property. There was a sweet dog named Mimosa who was a greeter and become a fast friend during our stay there. The rooms are larger than we thought. It was a comfortable stay in the Cabanas and it has great hot showers. There were plenty of places to sit outside on the porch and also a hammock to relax in.
