“A lovely property with lots of character. Unfortunately, we only stayed one day and that was a Sunday. The problem with staying on a Sunday is that the restaurant is closed and there is nowhere, either at the hotel or locally to get food. Our room whilst decorated beautifully and complete with everything you could want including robes and slippers was high up with a sloped roof that my wife on two occasions nearly knocked herself out. However, you will not find better and more friendly staff……

“Extremely warm welcome from Benoit to this spacious and comfortable house right opposite the Menin Gate in the centre of the town. The house is filled with memorabilia from the First World War. We were very pleased to join Benoit for the moving last post ceremony at the gate.”

J'étais seule mais je me suis senti en sécurité. ”
