The LAKEFRONT house is a 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms, Living/Dining room with breathtaking views, direct lake access, Family Room for quite time or reading and a large 1300 square feet deck space right by the water.

The lakefront is designed with a mix of modern and rustic décor for your comfort. The home features large couches, bar stools, pillows and cool dining space. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances. The back yard has breathtaking views of the lake, fire pit for smores and multiple boats to enjoy!!.

The walk out deck has stunning views, dining table for all , Adirondack chairs and a grill for a great BBQ by the water. The deck leads to a magnificent and huge deck with a 14-piece lounging furniture, perfect for a great get together. A large picnic table to top it off to have more space to wine and dine!

And did we say PETS welcome!! (small fee $75 per pet for length of booking) Bring them along to your vacation and let them enjoy their much needed time away from their busy life!! Well why leave them alone or at a pet hotel, when you can have them right by you and have them enjoy the home and water just as much as you.

We have boats for you to enjoy, right from our backyard at no extra cost, we have 4 Kayaks, 1 Pedal Boat ( 4 person) , 1 Canoe ( 3 person) , go out have some fun in the water, fishing is a huge hit amongst all our guests. The lake is non - motorized, NON SWIMMING ,excellent for fishing (trout, bass PA FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED).

The lakefront home is part of a gated APCP community. The community has 24 hour security and welcome center. We have a lot of family events within the community and in summer have access to community pool and other activities.( Summer Only)

We strive and believe in making sure when you make our home your home away from home we give you the best and everything in the house has been carefully thought out to make sure you enjoy your time while you live here and never want to leave!!.

The home has 2000sq ft of living space, as soon as you reach the home we have a front porch and on entering the house have a family room with a comfortable couch, coffee table and a antique rustic reading nook with books and old school furniture which will take you back in time.

The half bath/powder and in-house laundry is on the right side for use, no need to worry about drying your clothes, followed by a well-stocked kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, pots and pans, coffee machine, toaster etc. You and your family can cook up a storm and a hearty meal.

The kitchen leads to an open dining and living space with a dining table and chairs to enjoy your meal with water views. The large living space has a comfortable sectional couch and 55inch 4K HDTV, WIFI and Roku built in for you to enjoy! The home is equipped with internet/WIFI and basic Cable TV

The home is two level all the bedrooms are on the upper floor, the master bedroom has cathedral ceilings, with breath taking, stunning views of the lake and a balcony to enjoy your coffee or meal from. The master bedroom has a large floor plan, pull out couch, you will never want to leave the room! All rooms have great comfortable mattresses and lot of sheets, pillows for you to have a peaceful sleeping time!

We provide linens and towels so don’t worry if you don’t want to or forget to get them, we will take care of it.

We are close to all major attractions in Poconos, you would love the location of the home if you have group of friends and/or a family who enjoy outdoor activities.

Enjoyable lake house/ Awful neighbors

First the neighbors do not want renters on this property. They have a sign posted facing the house telling you that they don’t want you in their neighborhood. They called safety community Police on us three time in 24 hours. Had to call Regional Police to file a complaint of harassment for her to stop. Apparently, the the community association and management company are to familiar with her. There is camera on property and the owner, and management company access them while you are there to see if your violating any rules and to see if the neighbors complaints are valid. There is no grass for dogs to go to bathroom. Dog park is 1/2 mile from house within walking. No dressers in any bedroom, no hangers in closets, sectional couch was worn. Both Adults & kids had a great time kayaking, canoeing, bond fires, and fishing. The owner was easy to get a hold of , very nice. I feel bad for him because his neighbor is a total Karen. The lake is beautiful and it’s a great vacation to be outdoors. The price is way to high for this community and the aggravation of the neighbors. The community is unkept there are some houses making updates and maintenance to their yards. Overall, the price wasn’t worth the area or the problems.

Filthy place, lots of bugs

I don’t know where to start with this. Let’s just say the place does not look like the pictures. It was absolutely filthy. Food on the floor, dirty socks, flies and cobwebs everywhere. Garbage piled up at the end of the driveway. We stayed about 30 min and left. Family was literally in tears. If you want a painful experience book this place.

Family getaway

Spartan but peaceful

Communication with the host was excellent. House was clean, beds were comfortable (except the bunks). Very sparse furniture. No dressers in bedrooms, no curtains. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Lake is peaceful and quiet. Loads of kayaks & a canoe were great for our family. Definitely some weirdness has happened between other renters & the next door neighbor. Made for some awkwardness.

Great Getaway

Jacob was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. He was very responsive and very helpful. The house is as listed, it was clean and the outdoor space was great. My daughters had their first fishing experience there and loved it. We will have this house in our memories now.

family getaway

The owner was very responsive to our questions however, the pictures posted of the property we quite a few years old. Maintenance needs to be done on the deck, deck railing, and steps. Deck cushions were a little old. Deck chairs needed repair work also. Kitchen was acceptable as was the inside furniture. The neighborhood has a lot of trash along the roadside as well as in front yards of unoccupied homes. Our family did have a lot of fun despite the downsides listed above.

Family trip

I’ll start out by saying communication with Jacob was easy and he was very responsive (5 stars). The good: house and deck are spacious, kayaks provided, close to attractions in the Poconos. The bad: the community A POCONO COUNTRY PLACE (google it) has high crime and is a bit run down. Given the amount of crime in the neighborhood the lack of security in the house was disappointing. The neighbors are also sketchy, same threat as others said about their dog having a heavy bite and will attack if ours roams on their property. Also told us to not take pictures of them and put on YouTube? Very odd exchange. While I understand the review should be on this property the overall experience was soured due to my family being a bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful outside living space!

We stayed from July 7-10. The booking process was great. I heard from Jacob several times and he seemed very welcoming. They check in process wasn’t fabulous. There were only 2 people working behind the desk and this took about 30 minutes. After that, the vacation was wonderful. The boats for use were so much fun. Our kids had their first experience with kayaks. They took them out several times a day along with the pedal boat and canoe. We fished right off the dock all day. We used the grill, outside seating and fire pit lots. The inside was perfect for our group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). The house was clean and came with towels and linens. WiFi and Tv We’re good. Will be booking again next year!

Views of the lake were amazing. The owner Jacob is extremely responsive and accommodating. The kitchen was great for entertaining as was the open floor plan. The decks were awesome as well. Definitely recommend this house.

My fall trip to the lake house.

My stay at the lake house was just what I was looking for. The property was so comfortable and easy to enjoy. My parents visited me mid week and fell in love with place as well. With the oversized deck sitting right on the edge of the water, and the canoe and kayaks ready for launch, you just feel like the lake is yours. Grilling dinner and then enjoying the fire pit is the perfect wrap up to a great day. Looking forward to a return trip as are my wife and my parents.

This house was magnificent probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve rented

This was a surprise 50th for my best friend. 11 females had the most wonderful experience. The home is clean modern and Jacob the owner answered any questions within minutes. Will hopefully be coming back each year to make new memories

Retirement weekend for my Dad

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend staying here Sept 2019. My father doesn’t like big parties, but he has been looking forward to his retirement, so we rented this house so he could fish. It was amazing! He could fish right from the dock- we caught about a thousand blue gills, but caught some bass and perch later in the day. The view can’t be beat! We loved waking up right on the water and being able to enjoy our coffee right on the deck. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough room for everyone. The actual community is a little run down, but this house is not, and it was a pleasure to stay there! The owner was very easy to communicate with and so helpful with the check in process, things to do around the area, and check out. I would definitely recommend staying at the Tobyhanna house to anyone who is looking to enjoy nature and a quiet weekend/week!

Lakefront getaway

The deck & available boats were the main reason for picking this house (also pet friendly) and everything was as advertised. The instructions for getting the gate pass for the gated community could have been better: A) publish hours for office, B) give clear instructions for getting to property by going back out to main road. After a long drive this was not a good start, but once everyone got there we enjoyed our stay & the owner was very nice and responsive.

A magical lake house

We had a wonderful stay at this house for labor day weekend. The decks looking over the lake are amazing and provided endless entertainment for our kids and pups. We would highly recommend.

Weekend get-away

We had a great stay here. It is a beautiful spot on the lake and you can’t beat the deck. There was plenty of space for all 12 of us and the house had everything you could need for a weekend at the lake. The host was easy to get in touch with and check in was painless. Just be aware that the neighbor is not very friendly. We overall had a very good weekend and it was perfect for what we needed.

We had a great time at the property . Jacob was very communicative. Access to kayaks and a paddle boat is a huge plus. A great out door deck. Some parts of the house needs upgrades, but overall great stay.

Great communication and lake front amenities! However the neighborhood is really run down (even the homes on both sides of this property). The home needs some tlc- some broken spindles on the deck, sheets that fit the beds, etc. The dryer was broke and the “laundry service” that was offered was a total failure. Plans were canceled since towels were return 3 hours after expected and multiple phone calls. Not something you want to deal with on vacation. The lake is beautiful and peaceful! We enjoyed the lake view. The house was stocked for a nice stay and shopping near by. We had to drive the the visitors center to access the gate- which was not expected. The community pools was small/crowded but served the purpose on a hot summer day. Will explore different a community/town for rentals next time.

Perfect lake vacation

We stayed here with 6 adults and 5 teenagers and everyone had a great time! I read every review and I don’t agree with the negative ones. Check in at the welcome center took less than 3 minutes. It was a breeze if you just read the instructions Jacob sends you. All you need is your license and registration. We were in and out. Not once did we have a problem with the neighbors, and we were outside all day and into the night. How could you not the view is amazing. The house absolutely does look like the pictures. It’s clean, stocked with what you need, the kitchen has everything, pots, pans, bowls, measuring cups griddle. Beds were comfortable. Big smart tv, the deck is huge and the view perfection. You can’t get closer to the water without being in it, bbq worked fine and plenty of seating. Jacob had a welcome basket which was very helpful, including a ton of brochures with things to do nearby. The kids went to camelbeach. Some of the adults went to an outdoor shooting range. Side note: the shooting range was great the guy helping us was an ex marine and showed us some drills he did with the guns while he was training lots of fun and they let us go past the hour we paid for since it wasn’t too busy. Jacob responds to emails usually within minutes. He was wonderful to communicate with. For the people that say the neighborhood is run down, it’s the Pennsylvania mountains, you’re not in the French Alps. And THIS house was great, updated and well kept. It was quiet and peaceful, you will not regret staying here.

Wonderfull House, Amazing Host, Stunning Lakefront

Jacob was quick and would respond within minutes to any questions from the day we reserved. We spent most of the time outside on the decks and lake and had no issues with the neighbors or anyone around as we had read in one of the earlier reviews. The house was as described, sparkling clean. Major attractions were huge decks with plenty of seating options/deck furniture. One of the decks goes into the water. The canoe, paddle/pedal boat, 4 kayaks were used for hours, we also enjoyed fishing right from the deck. Deck is as lovely as in photos. As a family we enjoyed being outside most of the time. The house is well decorated and updated. Waking up to the stunning lake view from the Master was surreal. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils we needed to cook for family. Mattresses were comfortable, clean towels and sheets were provided. The house is huge enough to host much more people than our family. We had small children, and there was plenty of room in the bedrooms to set up a travel crib. Pool Table and Foosball table were a fun addition we weren’t expecting. The house is close to all major attractions in Mt Pocono and the drive to Walmart, Shop Rite, Loews was quick and short. House and the owner is extremely pet friendly, so we were able to bring the dog along as an integral part of our family. Jacob even helped our guests to visit and made sure they had no issues getting into the community, with crisp instructions. The guests were so happy, that they requested to be back the next day. Dryer did not work, which we were informed about, as soon as we booked, but Jacob again went above and beyond to have his property manager (Krystian) pick up the laundry and have it back. When we left a new dryer was to be installed for future guests. Thank you for making our family getaway an amazing experience. As a family we cannot wait to be back to this lake house again.
