“Soil Oasis is a wonderful property! Even prettier than the photos online, and the outdoor amenities (fire pit, deck chairs, hammock) are such a nice perk. Teresa was incredibly accommodating with my schedule change and the details she provided on-site for local recommendations and directions to the beach were greatly appreciated. Beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and organized, and the property was quiet.”

“Our granddaughters live in the neighborhood and our youngest was having her first birthday! It was just my husband and myself, way more house than we needed but tons more comfortable than a hotel. The winter views of the Bay from the living room were awesome. I highly recommend you make a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. A few surprises with the house itself, the most egregious for me was the fireplace pictured is not functional. The hosts have done a nice job with this house and are still……

“This house is huge and has lots of different indoor and outdoor gathering spaces so the kids and adults in our group of three families didn’t have to be on top of each other in one living space the whole time. Big firepit area and huge lawn were great, and we enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. There’s a place to buy fresh crabs, oysters, and shrimp very close by, and the house has everything you need for a crab night. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind.”

“Soul enriching location. The dock, the fresh eggs, the local GBH, and night sky all contribute. Quick access to Blackwater NWR. The furnishings and kitchen accessories are adequate. The microwave door no longer closes correctly and has to be pushed until the fan stops. None of that matters because of the location. ”

“ Our stay at Captain's Quarters in Maryland was simply incredible! From the moment we walked through the door, I was struck by how spotless everything was. The views from the property were breathtaking, showcasing the beauty of the area and providing a perfect backdrop for our memorable moments. We were a large group and worried about packing everything we’d need, but to our surprise , Captain's Quarters was fully equipped! “We really had such a lovely time. The home was spotless and included so many little extras (like ziplock bags, snacks, spices and coffee). The beds were cozy and there were plenty of places to stretch out or enjoy the scenery from the deck. The game room was a real bonus to bond as a family away from devices. We were a short drive from some nice places to have lunch and breakfast. The location allowed us to take short day trips for scenic or historical walks. I had a few planning questions which……
