We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely……

“Everything was great”

“Excellent communication from the owner, Julie and the property manager. Our family (newborn to adults) stayed at this property while in town for a wedding at Rousby Hall. We were a quick and easy 15 minute drive away from the venue. The house was very clean and nicely set up to accommodate our group. We only wish we had more time to spend at the house than we did. The pictures are exactly what you see when you check in - no unhappy surprises. Thank you for hosting us and being so flexible……

“Check in and check out were easy. They had a new grill to use, lots of outside equipment like bikes and kayaks to use, plenty of room inside to hang out with family, large yard was great for our dogs and the area is so quiet- we only saw a few people the whole time which was nice. Large dining table, poker table, washer and dryer, and chess table were all nice to have. Outside shower worked well. Lots of parking. Every room had made beds and clean towels and washcloths which was very nice. Bring……

“The house was exactly how the pictures showed !Cute and cozy ,and clean ! Im a country girl and felt at home sitting on the porch,enjoying the breeze. The sound of the ocean was a bonus!! Quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and morning walk on the dock. Overall i enjoyed my stay appreciate the hospitality of the host and would booked again !! ”

“This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again.”
