I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Toledo, Ohio and unfortunately, my experience was not very good. While the room had the basics and might suffice for a quick overnight stay, I would not choose to stay here again, especially with my family.
Upon arrival, I noticed that our roll of toilet paper was almost gone, and there were only three towels provided for a room with two double beds. When I requested additional towels, I was informed that they were running very low and this woudl not be possible. This lack of basic amenities was disappointing.
Additionally, the elevator was constantly wet, likely from guests using the pool and entering the elevator without drying off. This made using the elevator uncomfortable and potentially hazardous.
Moreover, the hallway consistently smelled like marijuana, which was quite unpleasant and not something I expected to encounter.
In addition, the ice machine in our floor was broken.
To add to these issues, our room door was ajar when we first arrived, which raised concerns about security and cleanliness.
Overall, while the hotel offers the bare essentials, I would recommend looking for other options if you're planning to stay for more than one night or if you're traveling with family.
