“In Turangi for a few days fishing with a mate great for two blokes with own bedrooms and ensuites one upstairs one down off the garage. Does sleep a couple more on a mezzanine above kitchen but not ideal unless young and fit lol. Possibly a bit dodgy for older folks or younger kids. Good clean unit with all ammenities. Comfy beds and good showers. Everything you need and nothing ya don’t. Fair condition for age and nice and warm. Good sized garage to keep vehicle and all our wet gear in at……

“We had a great time at The Blue Door Chalet. The house is well equipped, heated and welcoming. We arrived with a heated house, which was very pleasant, especially with a baby. There is a range of games and books in case of bad weather. The bedding is perfect. We love the little "cabane" for kids/teen. We'll be back for sure.If I have to snipe, it would be nice to have a cot and a baby chair to avoid moving our house.The only thing was that the spa ran out of water and had a bad smell.”

“We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by……
