Beachside, Pet friendly, newly furnished air conditioned family holiday home

Newly furnished 3 bedroom, 2 living, 2 bath, air conditioned house with under cover outdoor dining and fully fenced yard. Room for off street boat/van parking if required and double garage. Beach access via track adjacent to house. There is everything you could need with fully fitted out kitchen and BBQ. Kilometres of sandy beach with calm water great for kids and perfect water for paddle boards etc . Boat ramp one street away if you come with your boat as well as close to Burrum Heads and other top fishing spots. Great neighbourhood for kids with scooters and bikes. There are 2 eateries, pharmacy and convenience store within minutes. 15 mins to Hervey Bay restaurants, shops and attractions..There are 3 smart TVs and Bluray/DVD player for when you get sick of swimming, fishing and boating. There are loads of National Parks, rivers and attractions within a short drive. Great spot for families with great bike riding, scooters with a sleepy village feel.
We supply soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing and Laundry consumables, basic tea and coffee. All standard utensils, crockery etc plus porta cot and high chair if required. All linen and bath towels supplied. Woolworths home delivery is available to the property so you can log on to Woolworths and have all your groceries delivered so you can sit back and relax or try the two local eateries or take away. Ready for you to turn up and just chill. We have been getting rave reviews on the new beds so be careful not to sleep your whole holiday away!
Dog beds and dog bowls on site so the entire family is catered for.

The house is well presented, spacious and has a fabulous foot print for family. The kitchen was perfect and plenty of options for entertainment. Walking distance to the beach or convenience store. Toogoom beach is such a beautiful beach with white sands and safe swimming.?A most enjoyable family weekend.

Cleaner had not been before our arrival. Beach breeze does not get through and makes it very hot. The house itself is great.

Great house

Great house. Nice and bright and plenty of room. Good location. Only issue is it still advertised a whrilpool spa but there wasn't. Also no dog poo bags, but we brought our own. Would definitely rent this property again

Lovely home, fantastic location

Modern, light, bright and open plan home. Onky 1 block to the beach and an easy 15min stroll to local cafes. Very nice place and also very dog friendly with plenty of room to play and lots of shelter from the elements.

Disappointed

On arrival, found the kitchen fridge not working. Contacted owner who asked us to pull it (a big double door affair) out from the wall, switch it off & on again, so it would "reset" itself. We are 81 (awaiting heart surgery) & 75 yrs old, & the fridge was not on castors, so an impossible task. Owner then said she would send the cleaner to help us in the morning. Thank goodness there was a small fridge in the garage, else we'd have lost a LOT of food. Also the yard was full of knee-high weeds with super sticky seed heads which adhered heavily to our dog, & also to our legs & clothing. Next day the weeds were mown, & the cleaner restored power to the fridge, but sadly that lasted less than 24 hours. In short, we were reliant on the garage fridge for our entire fortnights stay - NOT good in such a big house & at our age. A sticker on the main fridge indicates it was tested in Jan.2023 for the random loss of power. STILL not fixed? Add to this, the towel rail in the ensuite fell to the floor when my husband was drying his hands. The marks on the wall were noticed on arrival, so this had happened before. Main bathroom tap fell over with each use, even though a replacement was in the kitchen pantry. External screen door to the back patio off its tracks & unusable. Vertical blinds are suffering from age. As advertised, there were no doggy beds, no laundry basket, no doggy poo bags. I'm sorry to say, while the new furnishings were comfortable, the whole house has been neglected.

Great holiday home close to dog beach

Large clean property. Well equipped and appointed. Dog friendly which is a huge bonus. Secure yard for them too. The garden looks a little tired but it is to expected for a dog friendly house. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay and we would definitely like to come back.

Very convenient to beach

We had a lovely time kayaking at Beelbi Creek. Nice secure back garden for our small dogs. Very comfortable home. They even provided dog shampoo, which was a lovely touch. Gosh the water is a long way out at low tide.

Beach house.

Very lovely houses to stay in. Was great to be so close to the beach. Was spacious and clean. The host was great to communicate with. We had 2 dogs and it was perfect as we could leave them there and go out and explore. A very old dog on his last holiday, was great to stay in a pet friendly house.
