Very sloppy. Place had missing light fixtures, wires dangling, light switch covers missing half their screws, shower curtain rod was about to fall off of the walls, weird smells in parts of the building, some of the buttons on the ac unit didn't work. They wired the room so that the one switch turned on both an overhead light and also the nightstand power outlet, so if you wanted to charge your phone overnight, you had to leave the lights on or leave your phone in the bathroom. And that's just the obvious little stuff. The only nice thing I can say about it is that the bed was clean and the locks on the doors work. At least there were no cockroaches or anything.
When my wife and I took the kids to the pool in the morning, the door was locked. The sign said "open from 7am to 11pm." It was 8am. We went and asked the creepy man at the counter if he could help us, and he said in very broken English with an almost impenetrable Indian accent, "pool open at 11." When we told him what the sign said, he replied, "manager coming in one hour." We never even asked to see the manager.
We are never coming to this hotel or any AmericInn hotel ever again. I would've rather slept in the van, all things considered. Utter waste of money.
