“The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see……

The separate room for the TV left the open concept kitchen/dining/living room distraction free to socialize while enjoying the amazing view of the mountains. On one of the clear days we were able to see the whole range all the way down to Mt. Washington. The remoteness was also a plus for the complete silence it afforded us.
