Very well appointed hotel. We had a one bedroom suite which was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. The one site bar and restaurant Dia was excellent. Had 2 wonderful dinners here - 1 for Valentine's day. Hotel is a short walk to Yonge and Bloor and Yorkville and is located on a subway line. We will definitely return for another stay.

Loved staying here this past week to celebrate my 30th birthday. The staff were so kind and sent a fruit plate to our room with a handwritten card. I had misplaced my wallet and the staff handled this situation with care and professional professionalism, and returned it. The rooms were cleanly and private, and it felt very chic and modern. The pool was the perfect size and cleanliness in the facilities was top-notch. The only downfall was not having a hot tub, but that is minor compared to what the rest of the hotel offers. Thank you canopy for the stay!

Nous avons moins apprécié la qualité du ménage qui est fait rapidement : l’aspirateur n’est pas passé partout, la poussière s’accumule sur les meubles et les lampes… Nous étions 4 dans notre chambre et il était mis que 2 verres et tasses malgré notre demande. Enfin les produits de douche étaient vides à notre arrivée, ce qui va dans le sens de ce qui précède : chambre préparée succinctement !

It was a nice hotel but there were shortcomings. Our room was very small and the bathroom tiny —though good design helps make them liveable. A lot of rooms must be very dark because they look at another wall. The lobby and restaurant are handsome, but it takes two elevator rides to get to the room. It’s also a 10 minute walk to Yorkville.

This is a budget version of a Hilton and it certainly shows. The rooms are very generic (and small!). It’s as if Hilton had a package purchase deal for all amenities and furniture with IKEA. It is budget low end stuff and is marketed as high end. It might look good on the website but it is clearly a significant downgrade in both quality and size. But the price does not reflect this. Staff are friendly enough but they are stuck with the task of pretending that the Hilton Canopy is a special Hilton boutique hotel when it is really just all around disappointing offering very little value or comfort for the dollar. Hilton needs to do better.
