Loved the hotel overall very cute but a few hiccups along the way. I travelled for work and considering the lobby is closed until 8, nespresso in the room would be great. Loved the toiletries nice touch. Bar man was super great. Had not noticed there was no elevator when I booked. My back is not great and had someone offered to help with my bags, it would have been appreciated, can’t go wrong to ask. The resto could use more food options aside from pizza. The neighbourhood has many pizza options already. Maybe ramen or a couple easy salads. Or a few ready made meal options. There is so little food available it would at least be nice to be able to order and eat downstairs with your colleagues, we didn’t feel like going out and asked, unfortunately was not possible and we had pizza night prior. . It was nice to see trees from my room, a little greenery goes a long way. Finally, I did have a pretty serious incident occur which I won’t get into here. The manager reached out to me and was very professional. That being said, I was not offered anywhere near the appropriate level of compensation for the disruption or trouble caused -not by a guest, but by the hotel, impacting my trust in the establishment as well as my sense of safety and security and that of guests. Im still left dumbfounded by the situation and the steps that were taken to compensate me. I feel this hotel could be great, simply missing a few key details.
