Place is a little dates, and need some upkeeping. The staff was great. Nice, helpful, accomodati h. Dinner was terrible. I still cannot understand How a professionale chef can kill cooking a plain Sirlon stake. Over cooked, hard to cut and Chew, zero taste. The sides were as much tasteless. Crazy menu prices, you needed a special chart to understand it. The menu would give a price but than for each of the item you order, there was a supplemental charge. Never ever seen it in my entire life. I have travelled the Worlds for last 50 years and never encounter something like it.

Unfortunately the pool was closed and looked like it had been for sometime .....also we had a balcony to our room but again this was locked and had been for quite sometime notice to say unsafe . But that aside everything else staff included were above par and i enjoyed my stay

As part of a wedding contingent, all of our party were very impressed with the level of service we were given. Many were impressed with the breakfast and attention to detail. Door mechanisms could be improved as they do bang on closure thus waking up your neighbours. But overall we were all vrry impressed.

A beautiful, if faded hotel, downstairs area impressive. Bedrooms at back small and well past their prime. View from bar area stunning, sunset out of this world! Customer service in bar needs improvement, food expensive for what is served.

Cosy Double room was clean though not totally spotless. Comfy bed. Great sea view. Reasonable price, comparable to smaller hotels. Good health spa with saunas, indoor pool (outdoor pool was closed), a good steam room, and a small spa pool - the spa pool could do with updating to contemporary style. Reasonably priced hotel bar, slightly cheaper than the local bars. A major highlight of the room was the complimentary real coffee, teas and two bottles of fresh mineral water, renewed every day. Nice bath, good mattress. The outside of the hotel was slightly grubby although the gardens were well kept. Parking was expensive at a GBP 10/day surcharge, and we had trouble getting Reception to lift the barrier on departure, probably because they were busy. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot, it felt like a mostly luxurious holiday at a very reasonable price. Final note - be sure to get the rear garden door combination from Reception before going out!

Ideal location. Room was clean, however decor throughout the hotel is very dated. Reception quite slow although friendly. A couple of items asked for at the bar and restaurant were not available! However, I would stay there again.
