“The place was initially hard to find, even though it was right in Rt 1. The house was very clean. It would have been helpful to know that it would be difficult for someone elderly or with physical limitations to navigate in and around the home. Lots of step ups and downs to get into different rooms. Uneven floors. It was rainy that weekend and the steps into the home were slippery. The house should be described as very rustic in the advertisement in VRBO. The downstairs bedroom was very drafty……

“The house itself was clean. Had everything we needed. It seemed like the back yard was still being cleared of trees and debris. Was too chilly for sitting out though. All and all, was fine.”

“We were 4 adult children with our 91 year old dad, celebrating his birthday. The house was charming, roomy, and more than adequate inside and out. Loved the farm animals, and the countryside. Sunday dad’s grandkids and great grands came to celebrate and they all had a grand time. We certainly hope to come back!”

The property, animals and swing set kept the kids so busy we didn’t even end up leaving the house on our off day. The property was clean and updated while still keeping the charm of the original home. The host was quick in response and very helpful along the way when we had some questions. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone……
