“This was a beautiful home set in the nicest town. Our first trip to NY and this was the best part of it all. Waking up every morning to the beautiful views, and deer in the backyard made our stay feel so relaxing. The home was very spacious and comfortable. It had eveything we needed and more. Every room was spacious and the beds were so soft, we fell right to sleep. We were here for our boys All Star Village baseball tournament and we were five minutes away which made commuting back and forth……

“The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“My friend and I were excited to get away during the New years week. We got everything from warm mid 40s to 6 inches of snow and low 20s. We were looking for a cozy cabin with a fireplace/stove and some outdoors for our dog. This was exactly what we wanted. I was able to do some excellent trout fishing nearby and some great hikes on DEC trails in State Forests, which were right up the road. “We loved staying at the Mountain Forest retreat. The house is very comfortable and set back in the trees. It’s quiet with wildlife roaming about. The hot tub was very relaxing. I definitely recommend it. ”
