We liked the size of the property with good cooking facilities , washer dryer , nice shower, double sink and comfortable bed.The paths and grass were well maintained around the hotel , pool and villas . The staff except for one lady were friendly and reasonably helpful.
Our front door looked like it had been forced open at some stage and the bottom was partly rotten . We were visited by a cockroach and small ants after it rained but got rid of both.
We were disappointed that the Expedia website advert said a curtesy vehicle was available to take you to the beach for example. Nothing is mentioned that this is only in season . So as we had a member of our party with a bad hip, and this was a reason for choosing this hotel this was a major disappointment.
There are 2 pools mentioned but the heated one was closed for 1/2 our stay. The heating when it was open was minimal !
We played tennis on the cracked surface court with broken surround netting. The net wasn’t the correct height and wasn’t adjustable .
Golf is mentioned at the adjoining course which was part of the resort but has now been sold off. There is a small discount for being resident at St George’s but is still very expensive. The restaurant looked as though it is closed for good . The gym was ok but a little dated .
Overall the hotel and its facilities looked as though it could do with some investment ! However in season if you are happy to sit by the larger pool then most people would be content
