ISLAND ADVENTURE HOLIDAY HOUSE

This very large 2 storey Queenslander holiday house has it all. Big enough for 2 or more families to holiday together and share the cost (sleeps max 14). Otherwise, plenty of space for smaller groups to spread out and enjoy. The whole house is air-conditioned & both levels are fully self contained!
Upstairs, it has a large open plan room encompassing a modern kitchen with built in cook top and oven and a great assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes etc. coffee machine, fridge and full freezer. There is a full sized dining table to fit 8 and comfy leather lounge suite to watch tv or movies on the SMART TV (DVD player & soundbar). On the verandah is a large outside setting to seat 8 more. Downstairs is also air-conditioned & features another well equipped kitchen and large upright fridge/freezer plus large dining table and lounge with another SMART tv/dvd/soundbar. NETFLIX & STAN are available for our guests on this TV as well! The large living room leads out to Pool & BBQ area through spacious tri-fold doors.

Free unlimited internet access is available throughout the property for our guests. Mobile phone reception is excellent with most providers, however Telstra works best.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Upstairs is the main bedroom with queen bed and fully equipped private ensuite. For those with infants, there is a nursery room off the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Double decker with double bed below and single up top. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, built in wardrobes and a set of french doors that open onto the expansive verandah. The main bathroom with toilet, shower, bathtub & vanity is located upstairs as well. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms each with queen beds as well as a fold out double sofa bed in the living room. There are 2 x inflatable queen beds available for use as well. Another bathroom with toilet/shower/vanity is located downstairs along with the laundry and garage. Linen is included & all beds are made up. There are bath towels & pool towels supplied as well.

LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS

We are located 1 block back from the Pacific Ocean (Cleveland Bay). It's a short stroll to the Beach, Esplanade, Patrolled swimming enclosure, Jetty, Hotel/TAB & Restaurant. Magnificent night views of Townsville glitter across the bay to Picnic Bay Esplanade. Magnetic Island Golf course is in the opposite direction but within walking distance. Public transport is available at regular intervals, otherwise hire a car or bring your own vehicle over on the vehicle ferry. It only takes 45 minutes. The passenger ferry is quicker (25min) Take a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef or snorkel close by. There's heaps of interesting walks, fishing trips, sports activities, jet ski tours and other activities.
