Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. Two notes: There is no A/C (which I didn’t realize but that’s on me and not the fault of the listing) and if you come in August, bring some heavy duty deet bug spray. Mosquitos are no……

“Very quick response from owner on any questions we had. ”

“Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. “The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“The host was exceptionally communicative prior to arrival giving very clear instructions on how to find their place. When we met them, they were very kind and considerate hosts offering additional help if it was needed.
