“Before you read this.... it sounds negative, but we had a fantastic trip. It is approximately 20 minutes from Sipapu. It is isolated. We did find the family dollar store (about 3.5 miles) and bought water for the slopes and drinking at the house. We didn't have a problem with drinking the tap water, just prefer bottled water.Kitchen is very open. We took all of the supper meals prepared, ready to heat up and glad we did. The kitchen has 10 forks. For a house that is able to sleep 11……

“We happened to hit a snowstorm just right and had a great weekend skiing at Sipapu. Our hosts had a nice cozy fire going for us when we got there, and they even gave us some tokens for discounts at one of the wineries nearby.One little piece of advice - cell service is pretty bad up there, so be sure to have the door code saved somewhere, because you may not be able to pull up the app. The wifi works great though, once you get in!”

Very easy to contact the host back up generator available if it is cloudy so no worries about it being solar powered we had absolutely no problems.”

“Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary……

“Really good overall stay. Somewhat dated and in need of repair, like the kitchen…dishwasher not attached, unusable microwave still installed. Listing says 6 people…do not see how 6 people could fit. Two bathrooms but master bath has ONLY a bathtub…no shower which is so strange. One television that has limited viewing for any kind of wifi tv service. We ended up buying a smart tv taking it with us. Some of the images on the listing showed a working fireplace but they are not. Linens and……

“This house had very comfortable beds, clean floors, cupboards, furniture, a beautiful, clean spa and lots of kitchen space for family to cook and dine. We walked every day around the neighborhood absolutely lovely Great time in the hot tub after being very cold. Felt safe and comfy for Thanksgiving with family Lots of room, I’d go there again ”
