“A wonderful stay in stunning surroundings. The views on the road from the villa to Peso da Régua are simply breathtaking. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with every appliance you can think of. The beds are comfortable and all rooms have air conditioning. The pool, although not the largest is ideal and there is a lovely shaded area and bbq. Having said all that, what made it the perfect holiday for us was the warm welcome, care and attention……

“Le logement est minuscule, et contrairement à ce qui est indiqué il n'y a pas 2 salles de bain. Aucune fenêtre ne possède de volet, les toilettes et la douche sont dans la chambre principale en mode ouvert. Le samedi soir il y a réunion au bar juste sous les fenêtres jusqu'à 3h00 du matin donc obligé de dormir les fenêtres fermées sans clim, et réveillé à 05:00 pa r le coq, les chiens et à 07:00 par le boulanger.... ”

“We really enjoyed our four night stay. Our host, Fatima, was lovely. Would highly recommend this spot, nestled among the vinyards and olive trees, with views to die for!!”

“The view was absolutely amazing. We took advantage of the fireplace and enjoyed that. The rest of the house was adequate. The furniture was not very comfortable. We cooked dinner the night we were there, and it was a little challenging to wash pots and pans in the tiny sink. Check in was a little late - at 4 pm - especially when only staying one night. ”

“The house was very clean and spacious, warm and comfortable, with a real log fire to complement the central heating. Our host Paula, a lovely lady, was an excellent host and very helpful, especially when Portugal was affected by a major power outage - she responded with torches, candles, warm soup, heating up a meal for us and a vacuum flask of hot water! We spent a fortnight exploring the Montesinho trails on foot and bike, and enjoyed it immensely. Rural northern Portugal at its best.”
