This cabin retreat sits on 2 acres of rolling, wooded hills in Traverse City, Michigan. The Cabin is inspired by Scandinavia and the Danish concept of Hygge. Here you will find privacy, photo opportunities and plenty of outdoor activities. This is a place to cook, grill, relax, be cozy, explore, play games, read, take day trips, make memories and be inspired by all Northern Michigan has to offer. Hygge is about living in the moment and enjoying life's simple pleasures.

A true Pure Michigan Retreat. Surrounded by rolling hills, trees and wildlife, the Cabin is located on the border of Grand Traverse County and Leelanau County in Traverse City, MI.
Guests need their own transportation. Also, there's plenty of parking in our circle driveway.
The location of the Cabin is both near and far from everything that Traverse City has to offer. That means guests should plan to bring some snacks and food to prepare for meals, in order to guarantee the most comfortable stay!
Noteworthy:
1.) This property is not suitable for guests with mobility issues due to the many flights of stairs
2.) In the winter, guests should have 4WD for getting into and out of the driveway - it becomes very slick with ice/snow and the snowbanks build up due to the snowplows
3.) The Cabin uses well water, so it has a water softener. However, if guests are sensitive to hard water, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking.
4.) The upstairs bedroom is a loft. Because of the home's layout, it can be noisy if other guests below are not taking care to be quiet.
