“I booked this place for a weekend getaway with my wife. The place is AMAZING!!! My wife fell in love with the little house and how it was decorated. If you want to just sit outside and enjoy the outdoors, it is very quiet and peaceful. The host of this property is amazing and we even had a lil surprise waiting for us when we arrived. When we return to visit Waco again I will definitely be booking here again!!!”

“My husband and I just got back from Wine Down Acres and we’re already talking about our next stay there. The house was clean, the property well taken care of, and the hosts were very friendly. Our dogs enjoyed running around the property and swimming in the pond. We didn’t bring fishing gear this time, but next time we will, as the pond was well stocked with fish. “The bed was comfortable. The decor nice. Bathroom and kitchen supplies adequate. Kitchen table and sofa were a good size for two and comfortable. Nice and quiet. However, the shower and kitchen sink were on the primitive side and the whole place could have stood a good wipe down.”

“We rented the boathouse for our family for my daughter’s graduation from Baylor. It was perfect because it’s close enough to Waco but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoys fishing and camping, so this location was perfect!! There are so many things to do at the ranch, everyone was entertained all weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly!”
