Luxurious Beach Front Villa with Pool - Out of the Blue Villa

New beachfront villa in beautiful Great Bay. Located directly on the wide and pristine beach. There are 4 air-conditioned rooms, with en-suite bathrooms (2 with amazing outside showers) with views of the sea and the rolling green hills behind.

Go to sleep to the sound of the sea, wake to bird song, sip your morning coffee on a veranda high above the wide, sandy beach.

Watch the fishermen of Great Bay prepare to go to sea, or meet them as they return with their catch, make a selection to be prepared for your dinner that same evening. Chat and feel the old Jamaican vibe, experience the quiet pride in this very special part of St Elizabeth.

Swim in the calm blue pool and sip a cool drink made for you at the driftwood bar while you relax under the shade of the large, thatched gazebo. Catch up with friends, keep an eye on the children, read, snooze, recover.

Play ping pong or do yoga seaside on your private, shaded yoga deck.

Take a short drive to restaurants and bars; Jake’s, Jack Spratt and others. Go to Black River, YS falls, or take a canoe to Pelican Bar or Little Ochi.

Go for a guided walk along the beach and cliffs, discover the unique environment surrounding you. Feast on lobster as you watch the golden sunset, watch the moon make the sea twinkle silver and even get up to watch the pink, glowing dawn….but only if you want to!

Our capable staff will help you make the most of your stay. Beverly will tease your taste buds with delicious meals from the spacious kitchen - she will ensure your belly is never empty; Donna Rae will be your housekeeper and ensure the flowers beside your bed are always fresh; and Randy will be your bartender and ensure you always have a fresh drink in hand.

Unlike many Villas in the area, we do not charge up front for a staff gratuity (tips are completely discretionary for guests) and additional services such as grocery shopping and laundry are provided free-of-charge to guests. Our staff are there to ensure you don't have to lift a finger and are pampered from the minute you arrive.

Trip of a lifetime
We went to Out of the Blue for a second time with a group of 8 friends. It was fantastic! The staff were amazing and made our stay truly special. The food was amazing. It was great to try so many Jamaican dishes. The house is so comfortable and relaxing and just steps to a fantastic quiet beach. We were sad to leave. We hope to return again soon.

Amazing property and amazing stay.
I loved everything about this home. The other reviews speak about all of the positives, so I’m not going to rehash those. Just know that the beach is great. The pool is great. The rooms are great. The staff is wonderful. The food was phenomenal. It was one of the most relaxing stays that I have ever had. If you want some negatives, I’ll give you two - there were a lot of bugs (welcome to a tropical island) and the road to get there was pretty trash (welcome to Jamaica). These were really minor blips in an otherwise amazing stay.

Absolute relaxation
Our group of 8 adults were looking for a total relaxation vacation and we got it with staying at this villa. An absolute wonderful and beautiful home with amazingly attentive staff members that made the most delicious food. Randy was wonderful and checked on us regularly and always offered to make us a drink to help us continue our relaxation vacation. Highly recommend this villa for an amazing vacation!

Authentic Jamaica
We love Jamaica. So, I booked this villa for my husband's birthday because I knew we would have a real experience. It's owned by locals and run by locals, which is important to me. When we arrived, we were greeted by the entire staff and they said "Welcome Home". I was suffering from motion sickness and the staff immediately escorted me to my room, turned on the ac, even made me tea. So attentive. The staff took care of our every need. They were warm, inviting and a pleasure to be around. Very nice people. We ate amazing authentic Jamaican food. The villa, views, ocean, wildlife, fresh seafood and general vibe was so awesome. Thank you to Ms. Bev, Randy, Ms. Donna, Phillip and the security guards. The only thing I could complain about is the mosquitoes! They ate us alive lol.

Unwind and Recharge in Paradise
We have been to Jamaica 20+ times and stayed all over the island. This was out 2nd stay on the south coast; the 1st was on an all-inclusive resort. We've stayed in a number of villas during our travels to Jamaica and this one bets them all. The pictures of Out of the Blue villa on vrbo are EXACTLY what it looks like in person. The "public" beach - I say public because it is technically a public beach - is really a private beach. It's sandy all along the shoreline for walking and the ocean floor is all sand too. The staff was amazing and found outstanding. They were available when needed but gave us our space. Miss Bev's fried chicken and coleslaw are out of this world. We are huge fans of the local food and Miss Bev did not disappoint. The property manager connected us with a local driver who has worked with the property for some time which was appreciated. We thought we might do a couple of offsite excursions but we honestly didn't want to leave. There are games, ping pong, TV, books, internet available for guests. This is definitely not the hip strip in Mo Bay so if that's your vibe, then the south coast is not for you. If you're truly looking to unplug and reconnect with family and friends, there is no better place. We cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful property, awesome staff
My family of four stayed for five nights and had a very relaxing time. The house is beautiful and staff is wonderful. We ate every meal at the house and only left for one excursion. I appreciated the other reviews highlighting that the house is a solid 2.5-hour drive from the airport, so we were prepared for that. Overall, a great vacation!

Magical beach side property
The property was magical and the staff greated us warmly and arranged for all our meals. The property is right on the beach and we saw dolphins and stingrays jump out of the water. We took the 2 kayaks out around the nearby nature preserve and stopped at a few tiny Beaches, where we saw crabs, octopus, sea cucumber, fish and other creatures. On another occasion we walked just a bit down the beach to some tidal pools where we watched the sunset. When we didn't want to go out to the ocean we could relax in the pool on the property. And all the meals were delicious. We had a wonderful time and the staff made it even better. We would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Home!
The home is absolutely beautiful! I've never rented outside of the US and was a little apprehensive, but I'm so glad I did! The bedrooms are beautiful and each have their own bathroom. The view from everywhere in the home is perfect. We loved spending our time outside on the patio, in the pool, and on the beach. The staff is wonderfully attentive. The ride from the airport is long, but it is worth it. Definitely hire Ranny!

Peaceful Paradise
Our stay at Out of the Blue was serene and the views were beautiful! The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff attended to all of our needs and ensured we had delicious meals and an ample supply of rum punch! The powder-sand beach was just a few steps away from the house and the pool was great for lounging and cooling off after soaking up the sun. We spent lots of time under the pavilion playing games, napping and relaxing. It was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning!

Beautiful Property on a Secluded Beach
Out of the Blue Villa is truly a unique property. It is a stunning home that sits on a stretch of beach that will seem almost deserted during your stay. It is rare to find a home if this quality and craftsmanship directly on a swimmable beach. We are a family of five with three teen sons who were seeking a quiet spot devoid of tourists and crowds to enjoy family time during these unusual times. Out of The Blue delivered on this in spades. If you are looking to truly unplug and just relax then this is the spot for you. The staff of Out of the Blue will take good care of you and make you feel truly "at home". Its important to point out what this vacation will not be. Its not an easy spot to get to. We ended up being delayed and had to do the drive from MBJ to Treasure Beach at night. It is an over 2 hour drive on a very windy road that is riddled with massive pot holes. Ranny does an excellent job navigating the journey and it does make the destination feel even more special and remote. Remember that it is this journey that keeps Treasure Beach uncrowded and unique. Excursions are limited and involve 45-60 min drives or boat rides. We went to YS falls and Appleton with Ranny on one excursion and Pelican bar and Black River on a boat for another. YS falls is beautiful and worth the trip through the countryside. Appleton felt very touristy and while interesting would not recommend for families. When we arrived at Pelican Bar there was no one there (including staff) which was fine by us as we weren't looking to drink and just there to experience the novelty of a bar in the middle of the ocean. The Black River was pretty but wildlife was not as abundant as we would have hoped. We saw two alligators and a few different species of birds. All in all the only excursion that I would highly recommend would be YS falls and maybe Black River. While we enjoyed all of the food we were served its important to point out that the staff is somewhat limited in what they can access. We were surprised that there wasn't more access to fresh seafood outside of lobster which seem to be in abundance and the use of packaged products (salad dressing, bread, juices) was common. Bev makes hearty, simple and satisfying Jamaican dishes like Aakee and Salt Fish, Jerk Chicken and Pork, Corn Meal Porridge, etc. Again, this is not a "gourmet" destination so just keep that in mind. TIP- Bring lots of US Cash (2K+) for tips, excursions, ranny, etc. You WILL need it.

Secluded Paradise
There are not enough good things to say about this property and it’s staff. I was familiar with this area of Jamaica as I’d lived there for a short period but even to me, this house and its perfect location were a surprise. We were collected at the airport by the driver recommended by the property who could not have been kinder in looking after myself and my elderly parents as we waited for the rest of our family to arrive. He also made everyone feel safe on what is for those who are not familiar, a very challenging drive from the airport and was very flexible in taking us around during our stay. After the drive, we received a very warm welcome from the house’s staff and sat right down to a delicious dinner. The house is spectacular! Beautifully lit with indoor/outdoor living at its best. Everything about the house felt very well planned out and convenient. The perfect lounging pool as close to the beach and ocean as you can imagine. Every night we were lulled to sleep with a full belly thanks to Ms Bev’s incredible cooking and the sounds of the sea crashing on the shore and every morning we woke to a delicious pot of coffee prepared by Carlton which we enjoyed by the pool as we watched both the fisherman and the pelicans do their work at sea. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Randy went above and beyond in facilitating our requests and answering our questions, Phillip was always busy around the house making sure we were taken care of, Ms Donna was incredibly sweet and snuck in and out of our rooms to tidy and prep them for the night or the day before we even noticed; always making sure they were nice and cool for bedtime. Carlton kept us safe at night and made sure everything was prepped for the day while the rest of the staff was at home for the night and we devoured every single meal Ms Bev put in front of us. You could tell it was always a team effort and we couldn’t have been more pleased by their excellent service. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!

The property was great. Just like the pictures show. Lovely house with a nice pool and a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent! Randy made great drinks, took care of booking tours and so much more. Bev’s cooking was amazing. One person in our party has a terrible gluten allergy and they made sure she was taken care of. Donna helped take care of so much as well. For dessert be sure and ask for the banana rum. Ronnie was always on time picking us up. Can’t imagine getting around without him. Also need mention Tyrone. He is not a staff of the property but is who Randy booked us with to take us snorkeling and finishing. He will pick you up by boat right at the beach at the house. Great prices for excursions. We seldom go back to the same place twice, but I do see us returning to this property in the near future.

Beautiful home!
The home is beautiful, right on the beach with a wonderful patio and pool that is just steps away. All of the staff is fantastic, with a special thank you to Randy, who made our four kids more smoothies in one week than he probably makes all year :) Miss Bev’s cooking was fantastic for every meal, Donna was so sweet and helpful and Carlton made the house feel safe each night and we woke up to a tidy home and great pot of coffee each day. The drive to the property is a bit of a trek (2.5 hours on a weekday, we made it to the airport in almost 2 hours on a weekend morning) but worth it. We are already planning our return trip in the not doing distant future. Thank you to Kate and her staff for their hospitality!

Amazing Bday Vacay
Out of the Blue Villa and the staff far exceeded our expectations. Everything from the booking process, villa, villa grounds, service, food, and staff was fantastic. the drive to the house is long and bumpy - we recommend drinks to make the drive more fun. Ranny, the driver, was wonderful. Jamaican hospitality is abundant here. Every need/want was met before we even thought about it. We were able to relax and enjoy our time with no worries and we always felt completely safe. Our only cautions would be to stay away from 100 proof and eat the scotch bonnet peppers sparingly. (Ask Randy -LOL!) All of us agree that we would love to return to this villa in this wonderful island paradise. Don't hesitate, just go!

Amazing is an understatement
From the moment we arrived, greeted by the seabreeze, breathtaking views and a cold glass of lemonade, our stay at Out of the Blue was impeccable. The staff treated us like family. Ms. Donna and Ms. Bev felt like my aunties. Ms. Bev's food... "cyann miss" (that's patio for amazing). Lobster pot is a must have. Randy's drinks, kept flowing. Ranny and Mark, our drivers, took good care of us. Had an amazing time at YS Falls and Pelican Bar. Our every need and wants were met. We didn't want to leave. Take me back!
