It has a great location to relax after hiking or cycling through the beautiful Weser mountain country with all its attractions guaranteed. Ideal for nature and sports-minded people and a paradise for walkers and cyclists.

Trails German Fairy Tale Road: The log cabin is on the pilgrimage Gottsbüren with his pilgrim paths and hiking trails in the premium nature reserve Holzapetal with the water castle Wülmersen. It is also located near the zoo Sababurg. Many bicycle paths (Weser and Diemel cycle paths) pass through the town and the trail 'German Fairy Tale Road'.
