This was my first and last stay at Candlewood Suites.
For three of the five days, there was no hot water. My sheets? Stained and disgusting. And to top it off, we never had a working room key—16 keys later, we still had to be let into our room every night.
The staff was a mixed bag. The woman working during most of our stay was indifferent, dismissive, and flat-out told me I was wrong—until she found out I wasn’t. No apology. No attempt to make it right. Just more attitude, like I was the problem.
On the flip side, the morning staff member was great—cheerful, asked if things had been fixed, and actually seemed to care. And the lady that was there the first and lat nights of our stay was very pleasant and tried to help.
Unfortunately, two helpful staff members don’t make up for a stay that is this frustrating. I won’t be back.
