“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this earthship. The huge slanting wall of windows let the surrounding nature in. We took the loop walk from the property three times, although only once with my 86 year old father. It was too steep for him. We heard turkeys in the mornings and evenings and even were able to spot them a few times. Garrett was a wonderful host and gave us hiking suggestions perfect for our groups interests and abilities. I was concerned about how much privacy, or lack there of, of……

“We loved staying here! There was room for us to spread out and it was close enough to Taos and skiing areas. The only thing to mention is I wish there was a door unstead of a curtain to the main bathroom. Great stay, would book again.”

“Really good overall stay. Somewhat dated and in need of repair, like the kitchen…dishwasher not attached, unusable microwave still installed. Listing says 6 people…do not see how 6 people could fit. Two bathrooms but master bath has ONLY a bathtub…no shower which is so strange. One television that has limited viewing for any kind of wifi tv service. “Overall, this house is really unique and beautiful. The location to town is great (about 10 minutes). It would make for a fun spot to have a bachelorette or yoga retreat! However, the home was not fully cleaned before our arrival which was unfortunate. “The sunsets we saw from the hot tub were once in a life time. Wonderful property on a dead end street. The house was a modern version of the traditional New Mexico style. There are amazing views of the mesa and the Rio Grand gorge from the very private hot tub and back yard. One of the best VRBO’s we have ever rented. ”

Breakfast in the main house each morning was delicious, and the hosts were very warm and friendly. If you have dogs with you, there is plenty of room for them to walk around on the grounds and a large area behind the casita for them to run around. Highly recommend this property. ”

“This is a 200 year old adobe house. It’s expansive, very nicely appointed, and unique. Truly an historic property. The host was awesome and reached out with access instructions before we arrived. The gorgeous San Francisco de Asis church is a few minutes walk away as is a great breakfast/lunch restaurant. Overall, this property was a wonderful find and we would definitely stay here again.”
