“A cheap place to stay if you just need a place to sleep. Run down and mostly broken. Add to it the most inhospitable and rude receptionist which complained about everything but found it OK to "walk" his dog for a 5am morning pee at the trash cans in the small common area backyard.”

“The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great.”

“This is a wonderful hotel, great location to access everything on Iona, staff clearly enjoy working there, as nothing was too much trouble and shared lots of local knowledge and lovely warm hospitality. Really helpful to have concierge to help with bags up from the ferry. The hotel lounge is just as enjoyable as seeing the island as it looks across the water and so you can just breathe in the view. Food was high standard and lovely they have a kitchen garden so lots of fresh organic……

“Adembenemend uitzicht en prettige host. Kamer was een beetje klein en het bed ook. Toch een prettig verblijf geweest. Komen er graag nog een keer. Maar dan een van de grotere kamers.”

“The owners of property friendly, nothing to much trouble for them. Scenic views Breakfast was lovely and hot but not keen on bread for toast. The only thing I would remark on, is property not well signposted off the main road and could do with some repairs to potholes”
